As a small business owner in Baltimore City and BCL client, I have witnessed first hand the vision, intentionality and commitment of BCL to the Baltimore economy and its small business ecosystem. The Vision: To “Reimagine Baltimore” as a prosperous city of beautiful residential communities and thriving small businesses. Intentionality: Upon meeting Ms. Bruce as a BCL small business client, she introduced me to her Operations Manager to discuss BCL’s recruitment needs, resulting in KPS becoming the Hiring Consultant for BCL. KPS is one of many small businesses that have experienced a reciprocal lending relationship with BCL. BCL’s Commitment to Economic Empowerment. The leadership of BCL practices what they preach. Not only do they demonstrate vision, intentionality. and commitment for Baltimore and the business community, they understand that they have to set the bar for this reality. Kudos to BCL for this amazing example for business owners to plan their work and work their plan.
